SEDS runs an English medium primary school. It is in a rural area and free of cost for children who come from a poor financial background. We appoint highly qualified teachers and train them. Teachers find teaching hard here sometimes due to lack of resources and many teachers find themselves leaving and accepting other high positions within a few short years. Children face difficulties due to this. Thus, to ensure the quality of education, we pay teachers a good salary. There are 61 students in our school currently guided by 10 teachers. Teachers salary is Rs. 5,000 x 10 teachers – Rs. 50,000 p.m (for 61 children) Cost per student is Rs. 820 p.m Cost for 5 students – Rs. 4,100 p.m
